Sunday saw the Bob Kemp Cup, the annual 25 mile TT named after one of the club’s illustrious Chairmen.
In the event hosted by Bognor Regis CC on the P901/25 HRC honours were taken by James Fawcett in a time of 56m 34s and the cup was presented by Betty Kemp. Special mention goes to Jonathan Stamper who through a combination of unfortunate circumstances managed to ride 1 hour and 1 second….!
The overall win was taken by Alex Napier of Blazing Saddles in 52m 33s and a full set of results can be found here.
Congratulations also go to Julian Middlewick who placed 4th in the Swashbuckler Middle Distance Triathlon on the same day completing the 1.2 mile swim in 28 minutes, riding the 56 miles in 2hrs 18m and following it with a 1h 35m 14 mile run for an overall 4h 23m time. Full results here.
