Well, there’s our penultimate TT of the season done. A nice evening – weather (finally) played ball, it was warm but not boiling, well, until you started to ride hard, then it got hot, and we had the tail wind on the way out, not much, but enough.
10 riders signed on for the earlier start, unfortunately we hit traffic around the northgate roundabout as audiences arrived at the theatre. The cycle lane got some use though! It seemed to have an impact on most times. We’ll aim to avoid a repeat for our final TT of the season next week. Well done to those who competed, commiserations to the one who had a mechanical and many thanks to the organisers & time keepers for putting on another excellent evening.
