Well that was an evening!
4 teams took on the 2up challenge in a reasonably challenging NNE wind. Whilst the wind had less effect on speed than anticipated, it certainly gave the bike handling some testing. The old course of P843 (into Chichester and up to Lavant) was used and tested the grey matter on how best to tackle the changing gradients and road positioning for the best road surface. Despite having ridden together for years, Graham & Andrew teamed up for their first 2up TT and took the 2up win.
Meanwhile, 9 solo riders (obviously haven’t got willing friends) set out, some regretting the choice of disc wheels, but surviving anyway. Larry from CCR and Howard from Blazing Saddles taking joint first place with Shaun from Southdown Velo less than 1 minute behind.
