It seems we’ve started the warmer months. Temperature was up into double figures and the sun was out. We haven’t quite got to grip with the controls, so there was still a brisk south easterly wind to contend with, however, as P841r returns to just short of the start and is fairly well sheltered in the middle section, the outgoing headwind was countered by a tail wind home. Not that we ever experience the tail wind, it’s always a headwind wherever we go.
12 riders took to the course with newer riders taking their place alongside the seasoned veterans. Thanks to the timekeepers, pusher offer, spotters, sign-placers and (most importantly IMHO!) the caterers. Well done Joe on taking first place.
More fun is available next week, later start of 1930, same course.
