What an evening.
The forecasted northerly winds were cancelled by a sea breeze leaving the course relatively windless. It was warm and sunny.
The road through Funtington had been swept.
18 riders turned out to see if they could mark their time or place better than previous. There was just one DNF who was on the ride of his life at the time. Another who thought they’d have a bad race put in a season PB on this course – congratulations!
Well done to all the riders – great time had by all. Many thanks to the timekeepers and organisers without whom we wouldn’t be able to have such fun.
