///Windless/warm/muggy. I think that should be the W3W tag for the Time Trial yesterday. Deep section wheels were definately needed along with good hydration before the event. But how does the weather affect the times?
Well, of the 8 riders last night, 2 had their best times of the season. 3 weren’t far off, 2 were close and 1 was on his first HRC Time trial of the season. So fair to say that it was a fast night. Being windless, there was a headwind everywhere, so it felt tough.
Fotunately, John was on hand to serve up the well earned refreshments. Many thanks go to the organisers, time keepers and everyone involved in putting on these time trials. 5 more in the season!
