And there goes another course record!! Congratulations to Ollie Boarer of Tofauti Everyone Active – a junior men & women’s race team – 20.38 – fantastic time on an unfamiliar course, beating the previous CR of 20.45 set by Joe Parker of RCR earlier this year.
We are now over 1/2 way through our evening series and we’ve had some remarkably good races. Last night being one of them.
Not quite sure what was going on with that wind, it should’ve been SW, but I’m sure there was more S than W in it. Still, at least it wasn’t an Easterly!
11 riders turned out – some new faces, some hadn’t been for a while. Times were mixed, some seem to revel in the conditions whilst others failed to make the most of the lack of headwind on the way out.
Thanks to the organisers without whom we can’t race.
Don’t forget – next week is 2up night on P843
