Clearly I’m no weather forecaster. Having suggested that there will be light winds, the weather gods decided to teach me a lesson and kept that wind turned up all evening. Cambermet was showing a nice westerly, but by the time we got to 1900, it had turned round 180°. Still, it was a nice sunny evening – hot even and some managed to post some very quick times – well done! Nice to see some new faces in the mix, hope you enjoyed it and hope to see you again next week.

Despite the most riders we’ve seen so far this season, there was tea and cake a plenty and the organisers managed a nice smooth start & finish and the signs were all in the right places. You may have even seen we can now take card payment! Thanks to all the organisers – it looks like a well oiled machine – we’re peddling frantically underneath!

And to the results – well done Howard Bayley from Blazing Saddles on taking the win for the evening.
