Open Time Trials

Open time trials are as the name suggests open to riders from all clubs and of all abilities. They are a bit more formal than club events and often attract large numbers of racers, many of whom are real stars of the time trial circuit. Julia Shaw (Commonwealth bronze medallist 2010) rode the HRC Open 10 mile TT last year. Entry forms need to be completed & the entrance fee paid usually 2 weeks before the event.
